The house is a 0.5 miles walk to Coy Pond which Ieads to Bournemouth Town Centre approx 1.3 miles walk onto prestigious Blue Flag Beaches. The house has ample accommodation and is on the Bournemouth/Poole Border.
Situated on the 2nd floor is the first of the houses' 4 bedrooms. The main bathrooms has a bath, wc and wash basin. At the front of the property is a large family bedroom, very light and airy, it hosts a kingsize Bed and single Bed, with ample wardrobe space. The second bedroom has a queensize bed and more wardrobe space, this bedroom is at the back of the property. The smallest of the bedrooms is a twin room with 2 single beds at the front of the property. All bedrooms have blackout blinds or curtains.
The 1st floor hosts a very light and airy lounge with TV/DVD and comfortable sitting area. the fully equipped kitchen, which has a gas oven/hob. Fridge/freezer, dishwasher and plenty of storage. The 10 seater dining room leads off the kitchen and is at the back of the property next to the Kitchen.
The ground floor has another family bedroom, double and single bed with patio doors leading out to the courtyard garden area. The second shower room is also on the ground floor, the separate shower room has a shower, wc and wash hand basin,
Dereham Way is located in a quiet residential area and a 10 minute drive to beaches.
Ideal base to explore the area such as the world famous Jurassic coast, beaches and heathlands of Studland bay, only a short ferry ride away. For the more active holiday makers water sports and golf facilities are all within easy reach.
The house lies within a 5 minute drive of Westbourne Village which will take you to a host of pubs, restaurants and shops as well as a Marks and Spencer food hall a Tesco Express, a local butcher, artisan bakers and specialist delicatessen's. Heading west along the promenade you will reach the stunning Sandbanks beach with all its water sports and restaurants including Rick Steins new fish restaurant.
This accommodation is strictly NON SMOKING and pets considered. Please note – this accommodation is for families, couples and professionals only – we do not accept hen/stag parties and it is at the owners discretion to accept groups.

We currently have one beach hut advertised on our website, which is located between the popular Alum Chine and Durley Chine beaches, offering unspoilt sea views and large balcony area, includes items such as sun loungers and gas stove. This can be added to your booking form as a second property: BEACH HUT.
Bournemouth town centre has an abundance of shops to suit all tastes and budgets. Here you will also find cinemas, the Pavilion theatre, Bournemouth International Centre and a variety of places to eat and drink. Head down to pier approach and you’ll find plenty to see and do, if you can manage to tear yourself away from the seven miles of golden sand why not take a stroll on the pier, play in the amusements, go on an underwater adventure at the Oceanarium or even catch the land train to Boscombe. Stroll through Bournemouth gardens and you’ll come across mini golf, a bandstand, aviary and the Bournemouth eye, a tethered balloon with large passenger carrier attached which flies high above the skyline and offers spectacular views.
Bournemouth, with its clean sandy beaches, parks and gardens lies 12 miles distant, whilst Highcliffe and Friars Cliff beaches and fantastic sailing at Mudeford are all within 8 miles. Lymington is easily accessible and trips to the Isle of Wight can be taken. Lymington itself is a pretty busy seaside town with an attractive harbour, cobbled streets and Georgian houses.
There are many local places of interest for the family to enjoy, including Marwell Zoological Park, The New Forest Otter and Owl Wildlife Park or a day out at Beaulieu Motor Museum. Further afield, but worth a trip, are Monkey World and the Tank Museum near Wool. Southampton, with its maritime history and West Quay shopping centre, the Blue Flag beaches of Hayling Island and Bournemouth, and Sandbanks at Poole, are all within an easy drive.
Take a walk up Hengistbury head and you’ll be greeted with wonderful views of the coastline and the Isle of Wight. Stroll down the other side and you’ll find yourself on the beach where you can quench your thirst in the café or catch a boat over to Christchurch. The priory town with its castle ruins and natural harbour offers some lovely locations for lunch or dinner.
The summer months see Bournemouth come alive with firework displays, candlelight nights, events for children and even an air festival on the beach. From mid November and throughout December the town centre becomes home to a German Christmas market, where you can buy traditional gifts or just sit and enjoy a nice glass of Gluhwein!
Further afield you'll find the spectacular Jurassic coastline (a world heritage site). Corfe Castle, The New Forest, Swanage and Southampton are all within easy travelling distance for a great day out.
