‘Big on Happiness’ is their motto and the goal is to create ‘a great space filled with great humans serving and enjoying locally-sourced food’.

After a walk along the beach I came across this new bar in the Lower Gardens and had to pop in. I was welcomed with a smile and made my way to the blissfully sunny garden where they were playing excellent music and looked over the brand new menu.

They have a breakfast, daytime and evening menu options which you can find HERE.

I ordered the ‘House Go’ guild beef and pork patty with peanut butter and smoke applewood cheese. It came with chunky chips and was one of the best burgers I’ve had for a while!

The drinks menu included fresh juices from the restaurant’s ‘Fresh Juice Bar’ located in Bournemouth Square.  I went for a ‘Juice #1’ bursting with pineapple, yellow pepper, lemon and ginger and look forward to trying to rest of the menu!

The ambience is relaxed and stylish. The decor is rustic whilst upmarket and it has a great vibe both day and night.

From the stunning panoramic views to the wholesome and delicious food – Urban Gardens is definitely worth a visit.
